First Solo - Kam V.

Updated: Nov 14, 2020

What a week for CHI’s own Kam V.! Just days after being promoted in the New Hampshire Air National Guard, Kam completed his first solo flight! On the calm morning of November 12th, Kam and CFI Dan hopped in N311VA to hit the pattern. After some flawless landings, Kam was instructed to taxi back to the CHI hangar so Dan could hop out!

Kam hit the pattern and greased his 3 landings before taxiing back to the hangar. He even got a complement from the tower!

Outside of being a dispatcher, Kam is an aeronautical engineering student at Southern New Hampshire University and an Aerospace Propulsion Technician at the New Hampshire Air National Guard. He hopes to fly the KC-46 upon graduating college. His hard work and dedication is difficult to replicate and we are lucky to have him as part of the CHI team.

Great job Kam! CHI is proud of all your hard work and persistence in your training. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead of you!
