Taking a ground school course is a great way to learn the knowledge required for the FAA written exam. The course is 9 weeks long and meets twice per week for a total of 18 class sessions. During the last session, students will take a practice written exam. If a grade of 70% is achieved, the student will receive a certificate of completion and a logbook sign-off by an instructor to take the FAA written exam.
In addition to taking the course for the first time during primary training, all pilots are welcome to take the course for a refresher. Our goal here at CHI Aerospace is to foster safe, responsible, educated pilots. With that, another great benefit to the CHI Aerospace Ground School is that alumni can sit in for free.
