Congratulations to Doug M. for passing his Private Pilot Checkride today!
On the morning of August 28th, Doug took off from Portsmouth International Airport at Pease for his checkride with DPE John Gary at Sanford Municipal Airport. After arriving and some small talk with John, the oral portion of the checkride began. Doug breezed through the oral and was even complemented for his depth of knowledge!
He then moved onto the flight portion! After completing all maneuvers well within Airman Certification Standards, Doug was informed that he passed.
To celebrate, his mom met him at Sanford to fly back with him to Portsmouth as his first passenger!
