A big congratulations to Anders D. for passing his Private Pilot Checkride today!
On the overcast morning of January 3rd, Anders took off from RWY 34 at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease on his way to his checkride with DPE John Gary at Sanford Municipal Airport. After a quick oral exam, Anders and John headed up for the practical portion in a race against a dropping cloud ceiling. Luckily the clouds stayed high enough for VFR, and Anders impressed John, flying well within the Airman Certification Standards. Upon returning to Sanford, John informed him he had passed his checkride!
This is the first step in Anders’ goal of earning all of his ratings and becoming an airline pilot, and we wish Anders luck in his future endeavors! Congratulations Anders!
