A big congratulations to Sawyer S. for completing his first solo flight! On March 19, 2019, Sawyer took off from Rochester Skyhaven Airport (KDAW) in N266VA and completed his first three bounces from runway 33 by himself. After kicking CFI Ed Robbins out of the plane, Ed watched from the ground and got a great video of him completing one of his solo landings. Sawyer has been flying with us since December of 2018 and wants to pursue a career in the airlines. Great job, Sawyer!
