Congratulations to Dan S. on his first solo!! Dan flew N266VA from runway 33 at Rochester Skyhaven Airport (KDAW) on the morning of 20 February, 2019. He did this without the help of CFI Ed Robbins. In fact, Ed had to stand out in the frigid 14 degree weather this morning to watch Dan do his three solo bounces.
Dan has been itching to solo. The weather hadn’t been cooperating with his planned solo flights for weeks. Fortunately, Ed and Dan finally had the opportunity today at 6:30am to complete the first major milestone of Dan’s training. Great job, Dan!
