A huge congratulations goes out to Alex W. for completing his first solo flight!
After a few practice laps in the pattern, CFI John Tiplady stepped out and sent Alex off to fly all by himself! Alex completed his first three solo touch and goes from runway 34 at Portsmouth International Airport (PSM) in N266VA on December 4, 2019. He is currently pursuing his private pilot certificate with us and hopes to fly for the air force in the future. Great job, Alex!
