Short and sweet with a dropping cloud deck- one touch and go and one full stop- Evan successfully completed his first solo flight on the afternoon of January 14, 2021! With his mother, his instructor, Jack, and the rest of the CHI staff on the ramp to greet him on his way back in, it was a joyous moment for everyone.
Evan is an Air Force ROTC cadet finishing up his last year at Norwich University, a military academy in Vermont. After he graduates, he has plans to join the Air Force as a Combat Systems Officer. He hopes to apply his passion for flying to his career in the Air Force!
It has been so exciting and inspiring to watch Evan progress through his training with such hard work and dedication. Congratulations on this huge accomplishment, Evan!
