A huge congratulations goes out to Rich G. for passing his Private Pilot checkride!
On April 5, 2019, Rich took N266VA up to the Sanford Regional Airport (KSFM) in Maine to meet with DPE John Gary. Once completing the oral portion of his checkride, Rich flew John around Sanford. A few maneuvers later, Rich returned to Sanford and was informed he passed his checkride! After that, Rich headed back inside with John to fill out all the necessary paperwork officially making him a private pilot.
After his checkride, Rich has continued to fly with us and is building his own RV-12. Down the road he hopes to get his instrument rating.
