Congratulations to Stephen R. for passing his private pilot checkride this week!
In the early hours of Thursday the 29th, Stephen flew into Sanford Regional Airport to complete his checkride. After securing the plane, Stephen met with DPE to prove his extensive knowledge of weather, aircraft performance, and RV12 systems during the oral exam. Stephen then took off out of Sanford with the DPE to start his private pilot check ride. Strapped into N271VA, Stephen showed off his skills with maneuvers West of Biddeford before doing his three landings back at SFM. He was informed shortly after that he was now a licensed private pilot!
On his first flight as a licensed private pilot, Stephen beat the MVFR conditions upon return to PSM to share the great news with the greeting party! Stephen trained with CFI Mikey for the months preceding the check ride.
