A huge congratulations goes out to Joe P. for completing his first solo flight!
On July 3rd, 2019, Joe completed his first three bounces from runway 16 at Portsmouth International Airport (KPSM) all by himself. Joe is also the first CHI student to have a first solo in our new aircraft, N922CA. What a way to kick off the Fourth of July weekend! His whole family joined him for this milestone and watched from the end of the runway to cheer him on. After getting his private pilot license, Joe plans on joining the navy.
